FARES: Net rates, per person and in American Dollars. Commission may be taken at 10%.
PRICE MODIFICATION
CHANGES: Prices
are subject to change at any time before your reservation is confirmed
and/or operated by our company. You will be notified of price changes
FOR OUR OWN SERVICES, FIT's PASSENGERS AND GROUPS:
FIT's (Individuals) : 1-9 pax.
GROUPS: 10 or more pax.
RESERVATIONS: Group
reservations for services throughout the year are to be made at the end
of the previous year or at latest, the beginning of the year in which
the services will be supplied. Definitive re-confirmation must be made
at least 30 days prior to the group’s arrival.
FITs reservations must be made with at least 15 days notice.
HOTEL RESERVATION CONFIRMATION: Groups
and FITs always require confirmation of hotel reservations which need
to be communicated by fax or e-mail. In the event that the hotel does
not have space for the requested date, you will be informed with 48
hours notice and, where possible, given the alternative of another
hotel of similar category at a new price.
FREE OF CHARGE: For
groups of 10 passengers or more, in TURISBUS's own services ( La Paz
and Lake Titicaca ), the tour leader will not be charged for
accommodations nor transportation.
For groups of 10 passengers or
more paying in the restaurant, the tour leader will receive 100%
discount on food, but not beverages.
For FITs, in TURISBUS's own
services the tour leader will be charged 50% of hotel accommodations
and transportation fares. In the restaurant, when all passengers eat,
the tour leader will receive 50% discount on food, but not beverage.
PAYMENT POLICY: Unless previously agreed by your agency and TURISBUS, FITs and groups must pay 100% of the bill before the service is supplied.
PRE-PAYMENT:
By either checks in US dollars, made out to the order of TURISBUS, US
dollar bank transfers to our account in the USA or by credit card where
the card holder's signature is on file.
CANCELLATION POLICY: For
TURISBUS's own transportation services there is a 10% charge for
cancellations made 24 hours before departure time and 50% for no-show
or cancellation at departure time. Cancellation 15 days before the
service is scheduled will only be subject to communication charges.
For hotel services, in the case of no-show the first night will be charged at 100%.
When acting on behalf of a third party, their cancellation policies apply.
RESPONSIBILITIES: TURISBUS
reserves the right to change transportation means, accommodations and
programmed routes in cases of force majeure, offering reasonable
justification, in order to protect passengers' interests and safety.
INSURANCE: While
passengers are in TURISBUS buses and boats, they are covered by an
insurance policy worth US$3000 in the event of permanent disability or
death and US$1000 for medical expenses per passenger.
For the programs: Trekking, Amazon Adventure, and trips to Uyuni Salt Lake , each passenger must have private insurance.
Luggage is insured at US$20 per passenger.
In
no instance can TURISBUS be subject to greater responsibility for
passengers or luggage than that covered by our insurance policy.
